Enjoyed exploring new food and service trends, restaurant equipment IOT, and digital technology at the National Restaurant Association Show this afternoon. Two highlights stood out: (1) Catching a glimpse of Don Thompson, former McDonald’s CEO. I still remember when he said we needed to be a technology company. It felt like a turning point. (2) Experiencing PATH's customer-centric marketing firsthand. They mastered customer delight when they switched the normal sample water bottle for this one after seeing my badge.
