    Since the first Earth Day on April 22, 1970, billions of people have been mobilized annually to participate in a wide range of planet-improving initiatives globally, according to EARTHDAY.ORG. The key challenge Liquid I.V. has chosen as the focal point of its impact program is helping provide reliable access to clean water for 2M people around the world. We anticipate reaching 500,000 people this year alone.   Overall, the United Nations estimates that about 2.2 billion people worldwide lack access to clean water. 🌍 On this Earth Day 2024, we’re highlighting our partnership with Save the Children International, a global non-profit that for over 100 years has been helping ensure that the world’s most vulnerable children survive, learn and are protected.     Through an investment of $350,000, Liquid I.V. is working with Save the Children International to leverage innovative solutions for providing clean water to support 3,000 households and a total 18,000 individuals in Bari Province, Somalia using solar-powered desalination technology. The impact of historic drought in Somalia has been devastating, with water scarcity intensifying daily. Save the Children International has identified access to clean drinking water as the most urgent need for the population.💧   Last year, Save the Children International installed a water distribution system powered by innovative technology created by Elemental Water Makers “This project goes beyond elevating living standards of the community; it symbolizes a profound shift, providing a free, fresh, and safe water supply,” says Mohamed Said, Save the Children Area Representative in Somalia.     Liquid I.V. headed to California’s Coachella Valley this past weekend for our biggest splash yet in the desert! We were headline presenter of Neon Carnival, the weekend’s legendary after-party known for drawing numerous celebrities and influencers.   As the #1 powdered hydration brand in America, we were thrilled to once again be part of one of the most exclusive cultural moments of the year. With a grassy knoll spanning the length of three football fields and featuring carnival-style games, rides and other amusement park thrills, Neon Carnival is a perfect place for Liquid I.V. to provide guests with the hydration needed to feel their best and keep the night going!  🎡 This year, Liquid I.V. featured two new flavors for guests to exclusively experience throughout the grounds and at our Hydration Lounge – our Hydration Multiplier® Popsicle® Firecracker and Hydration Multiplier®, Sugar-Free in Rainbow Sherbet!  💦  🌈 Liquid I.V. set out to “drench” attendees in hydration with a full takeover of Neon Carnival. The Liquid I.V. Hydration Lounge provided a mocktail bar, lounging area, photo opportunities and gift bags on exit. The brightly lit, multi-level Liquid I.V. Water Tower featured Liquid I.V. mocktails, as well as slushies and product samples on level one. Level two’s highlight was the Liquid I.V. water tank where guests experienced music, and an ever-changing projection to simulate the experience of stepping into the product itself!     Last week was our Q1 Day of Impact at Liquid I.V. Our focus for this quarter’s Day of Impact was on clean water access programs in recognition of World Water Day, March 22. 💧     The United Nations estimates that 2.2 billion people worldwide lack access to safe and clean drinking water. Some 2+ million of them are in the U.S.     Liquid I.V. is tackling the challenge of building awareness around global water insecurity, igniting action and supporting partners working to ensure access to clean abundant water for people worldwide. One such partner is DigDeep, a non-profit providing access to clean water for people in several areas of the United States. We were thrilled to host several members of the DigDeep team and learn more about the important work they are carrying out.     Our grant programs with leading water, humanitarian, and community-based organizations reached an estimated 320,000 people worldwide in 2023. Our goal is to reach 500,000+ in 2024. This year Liquid I.V. has granted nearly $2M to organizations that (in addition to DigDeep) include MAP International (Liberia and Burkina Faso), Save the Children International (Somalia), Water For People (Rwanda) and Mothers of the Amazon (Brazil)🌎     We believe in the transformative power of clean and accessible water.
