The uneven distribution of AI’s benefits across societies and economies is exacerbating domestic and global inequalities. It is also posing significant challenges to the democratic governance of technology and the capacity for future innovation. To tackle this issue, the DPGA Secretariat's Lea Gimpel has worked in partnership with the Open Knowledge Foundation, Open Future Foundation,Centrum für Europäische Politik and MicroSave Consulting (MSC) to co-author a policy brief that makes recommendations for actions #G7 policymakers can take to ensure the benefits of AI's use and implementation are globally equitable. They include methods to strengthen #DigitalCooperation, how to leverage #DigitalPublicGoods for AI systems, among others. Dive into the full brief in the link below ⤵ https://lnkd.in/ecsaXYMR
