Leaders from across the country participated in the second annual NCAI Tribal Leaders Media Training and Communication Fellowship. This year’s Fellowship took place at Arizona State University - Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication. The three day training focused on storytelling, public speaking, and working with the media. The agenda provided time for dialogue and conversation on numerous topics relevant to operating in today's fast paced environment. Stay tuned for next year!

NCUIH is proud to serve as the Co-Chair of the National Congress of American Indians Health Subcommittee. NCUIH President Walter Murillo (Choctaw) and National Indian Health Board Vice-Chair Sam Moose (Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe) presided over yesterday's meeting at the 2024 NCAI Mid-Year Convention and Marketplace. We are grateful to stand alongside Tribes to protect Tribal Sovereignty and advance Native health. NCUIH Vice President of Policy and Communications, Meredith Raimondi also presented urban Indian health updates before the subcommittee.

The American Indian Policy Institute and the National Congress of American Indians have launched the Center for Tribal Digital Sovereignty. This initiative will empower Tribal Nations to create and manage their own digital sovereignty plans, ensuring their rights and cultural integrity in the digital age.
