Hello all. The Mind Therapy Clinic is looking for clients to join our weekly virtual Men’s Group. The group meets every Tuesday from 10-11:20 am. It is a process group that is open for any men to join. Typical topics discussed in the group include substance use recovery, marital and relationship difficulties, building self-esteem, challenging impulses to problem solve, and moving towards being more open and honest with our thoughts and feelings. Great opportunity for those looking to learn the full continuum of interdisciplinary care from standard outpatient services to intensive outpatient and partial hospital programs (IOP/PHP), to supported living.
Mind Therapy Clinic (MTC) is accepting applications for Postdoctoral Fellows in Psychology for the 2024-25 academic year. The fellowship program offers advanced training in individual, family, couples, and group psychotherapy and provides supervision, consultation, and didactics related to many therapy modalities including CBT, DBT, ACT, and psychodynamic treatment. Fellows at MTC have the opportunity to immerse themselves in interdisciplinary teamwork and specialized patient populations (especially trauma, substance use, and personality disorders) in our intensive outpatient (IOP) and partial hospital (PHP) programmatic levels of care, while also honing the skills of a private practice therapist in our standard outpatient clinic. The postdoctoral fellowship MTC is an APPIC Member program and prepares trainees for licensure in the state of California.
