On World Blood Donor Day, we thank the MicroVention Associates who donated and supported the blood drive at our Aliso Viejo global headquarters. We partnered with the American Red Cross to help people who are receiving treatment for cancer, leukemia, sickle cell disease, heart surgery, and organ transplants, as well as burn and accident victims. We're proud to help patients receive the lifesaving blood supply they need—this week’s blood drive went to the American Red Cross Orange County Chapter which serves 3.1 million people. #worldblooddonorday #blooddrive #microvention #healthcareleaders

Our CEO, Carsten Schroeder, recently shared his thoughts on the three pillars driving our success: Leadership, Clarity, and High Performance. With 3,800 passionate Associates worldwide, MicroVention operates as ONE TEAM, advancing patient care through our commitment to innovation. A huge thank you to Carsten Schroeder for his phenomenal leadership and to every Associate around the world for making MicroVention-Terumo a unique and special place to work. Together, we are achieving greatness! #Leadership #Clarity #HighPerformance #Innovation #Teamwork #MicroVention #PatientCare #GlobalTeam
Leadership – Clarity – High Performance These three attributes – Leadership, Clarity, and High Performance - describe my last five weeks traveling across the globe meeting with physicians, attending congresses, and joining our MicroVention kick-off meetings. I believe MicroVention is well positioned for continued success based on: - Leadership – we have a strong and aligned talent bench with leaders at all levels. We make it a business priority to invest in career and functional development. - Clarity – we are speaking with one voice globally to deliver one message to ensure our Associates are aligned on what matters most to our customers and to our product pipeline. - High Performance – we continually push and challenge one another to be better than we were yesterday. This allows us to not only meet our business objectives, but to ensure innovation remains in our DNA at MicroVention. I have full confidence in our 3,800 Associates around the world that are skilled in their functional areas, committed, and passionate about what they do. We are operating as ONE TEAM to design, develop, and commercialize the best solutions to advance patient care. I would like to thank all of our Associates for what they do each day to make MicroVention and our culture one that is extra special. MicroVention-Terumo

Did you know the rainbow flag continues to evolve? As part of Pride Month, we’re sharing the meaning behind the Progress flag. Introduced by Daniel Quaser in 2018, “Progress,” a Pride flag reboot incorporates the Transgender Pride Flag and honors marginalized identities like people of color, those living with HIV/AIDS, and those who’ve been lost, all of which form an arrow shape representing the movement toward equality and progress. #PrideMonth #DEI #MicroVentionProud

🌈✨ Proudly Raising the Progress Pride Flag! ✨🌈 This #PrideMonth, we are honored to raise the Progress Pride Flag at our global headquarters. The Progress Pride Flag, designed by Daniel Quasar, not only represents the vibrant LGBTQ+ community but also highlights the inclusion and diversity that are the cornerstones of our company values. The flag's rainbow colors symbolize the diversity of the LGBTQ+ community, while the additional stripes emphasize the importance of inclusion and progression. At MicroVention, we believe in creating an inclusive environment where everyone feels seen, heard, and valued. As we celebrate Pride Month, we reaffirm our commitment to standing with the LGBTQ+ community and advocating for equality and respect for all. Join us in celebrating love, diversity, and progress! 🏳️🌈💖 #ProgressPride #LGBTQ+ #Inclusion #Diversity #LoveIsLove

MicroVention celebrates the Pride in all of us throughout June! Diversity and inclusion are essential to our culture of belonging. Today, we’re honoring a special symbol of community. First flown in 1978 to honor members of the early gay and lesbian movement, the rainbow flag has since evolved into a worldwide call for diversity, inclusivity, and pride. The eight colors represent tenets like life, healing, nature, and the spirit of the LGBTQ+ community. #PrideMonth #DEI #MicroVentionProud

As we wrap up Stroke Awareness Month, Dr. Elad Levy of the University of Buffalo recommends the following, “The weather is getting warmer. Get up. Get moving. Eat well.” Thanks Dr. Levy for highlighting how a healthy lifestyle contributes to stroke prevention. Managing stress, getting adequate sleep, and lowering your blood pressure all help reduce the chances of a blood vessel rupture or narrowed/clogged blood vessels in the brain, which causes stroke. #SurviveStroke #StrokeAwarenessMonth #surviveandthrive #neurovascular #microvention Society of NeuroInterventional Surgery Source: American Stroke Association
