Bike Month was another big success this year - 64,842 people took part in Love to Ride’s Bike Month program. 10 million miles and 645,591 trips were biked in Bike Month. 🚲 The inaugural ‘Make Every Ride Count’ initiative with the League of American Bicyclists was also a big success. People have now rated 1,165,000 segments of streets for how safe & comfortable they feel when riding on their local streets. The maps show dark grey lines for the routes that were automatically recorded with the new Love to Ride app (76% of which are short trips by bike) and the painted lines show the average rating for comfort & safety. If you’re a transportation professional who wants: - data to help improve road safety and the local rider experience; - data to help make the case for a project or funding; - data to help measure the impact of your work on improving road safety, ...then reach out.
