We are delighted to share highlights from our Co-Founder & CEO Nitin Seth’s #Masterclass which was based on his recent bestseller #MasteringTheDataParadox. It was a really engaging and insightful learning session attended by Incedo colleagues across all our five offices in India. Below are some of the key learnings and takeaways from the session: 1. 𝐃𝐚𝐭𝐚 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐬 𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐛𝐢𝐠𝐠𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐦𝐞𝐠𝐚-𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐃𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐚𝐠𝐞:  Over the past 24 years, the volume of data has surged dramatically, growing by 150,000 to 200,000 times. This exponential increase surpasses any other trend observed in the digital age, with nearly 90% of the world's data generated in the last 2-3 years 2. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐟𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐚 𝐨𝐟 𝐃𝐚𝐭𝐚, 𝐀𝐈, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐃𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐚 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧: The virtuous interplay between Data, AI, and Digital fuels transformative change, with each element reinforcing and enhancing the others. This virtual cycle drives exponential growth and innovation. 3. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐃𝐚𝐭𝐚 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐨𝐱- 𝐖𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫, 𝐰𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞, 𝐧𝐨𝐫 𝐚𝐧𝐲 𝐝𝐫𝐨𝐩 𝐭𝐨 𝐝𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐤: In today's world of uncertainty, we encounter multiple paradoxes, particularly in the data-first world and the AI age. A key paradox is the data paradox, where organizations are overwhelmed by the abundance of data, yet insights remain scarce, holding them back from realizing the full potential of their data. 4. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐨𝐨𝐭 𝐜𝐚𝐮𝐬𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐚 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐨𝐱 𝐨𝐟 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧 𝐩𝐡𝐲𝐬𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥: The book challenges the long-standing view that more technology is required to solve the data problems. Nitin takes a counter intuitive view and argues that there are huge amounts of data and taking a physical approach of investing in infrastructure will not solve the problem. The solution to the problem lies in the logical aspect of narrowing down the data requirements. 5. 𝐃𝐚𝐭𝐚 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐠𝐥𝐨𝐛𝐚𝐥 𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐚 𝐬𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐜𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐚𝐝𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐠𝐞: Global data collaboration is essential to addressing major challenges humanity faces. As we enter the Digital Age, global power dynamics are shifting once again, with data serving as a crucial source of competitive advantage for nations. 6. 𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐀𝐈 𝐡𝐚𝐬 𝐮𝐧𝐥𝐨𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐬𝐝𝐨𝐦 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝, 𝐛𝐮𝐭 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐱𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐳𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐬 𝐤𝐞𝐲: While AI presents an unprecedented opportunity, the true potential will be unlocked when foundational Gen AI models, currently built on internet data, are contextualized with narrow and deep enterprise proprietary data and individual personal data. #Masterclass #MDP #MasteringTheDataParadox #Data #AI #NewBook #Bestseller
