EY were thrilled to have been joined by Jody Day, founder of Gateway Women, for the recent EY UK Life Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DE&I) roundtable with the key discussion topic of pushing the notion of diversity to new horizons. It focused on diverse groups of people who do not have legally protected characteristics, such as non-parents, military veterans, and those who have suffered bereavement. There were 3 key takeaways: • Recognition and executive sponsorship in DE&I communities are critical • There is immense value in connecting and sharing ideas for implementing new practices • The realisation that there is always more to do in DE&I, including reflections on who might still be underrepresented within our organisations It's fantastic that EY engage in such conversations, let's continue the discussion and turn these insights into action! 💡🤝 #InclusionMatters #HRLeaders #DiversityAndInclusion #BetterWorkingWorld #EYUK
