Open-source protocols for funding and rewarding positive impact

About us

The mission of the Hypercerts Foundation is to advance the development and adoption of open-source protocols for funding and rewarding positive impact. Hypercerts are a new protocol for funding and rewarding positive impact. Every hypercert is a public claim on a discrete piece of work and impact resulting from that work. Projects can create hypercerts and distribute them to contributors. Funders can own hypercert fractions — and the rights that come with them. Impact evaluators can create value for projects and funders by assessing the quality of hypercerts and offering ratings. Hypercerts create interoperability by serving as a single, open, shared, decentralized database for impact claims and funding mechanisms. The Hypercerts Foundation is a fully independent organisation working closely with stakeholders in the open source, scientific research, and cryptography communities to develop and promote protocols that are decentralized, secure, and transparent. The Foundation will also provide support and resources to help drive the wider adoption of these protocols.

Welcome to our series showcasing the Epoch 3 Cohort! ✨ Today we'd like to introduce you to three amazing projects: 🌟 Hypercerts Foundation 🌟 The mission of the Hypercerts Foundation is to advance the development and adoption of open-source protocols for funding and rewarding positive impact. Hypercerts are the #web3 standard for impact certificates. They track financial and non-financial contributions to impactful work, such that these contributions are rewarded. Novel funding mechanisms are being built with hypercerts in multiple impact domains – to incentivise impact and innovation. Vote for the Hypercerts Foundation here: https://lnkd.in/djk9VFwM 🌐 Metagov 🌐 MetaGov is a laboratory for self-governance on the internet. They're a nonprofit collective that produces research and standards, and builds communities enabling self-governance in the digital age. Some domains that they are currently delving into include: deliberative decision making, AI governance, granting and impact measurement, open source transition calculator, DAO science, as well as DAO standards. Vote for MetaGov here: https://lnkd.in/djk9VFwM 😊 NiceNode 😊 NiceNode is a simple desktop app that runs, monitors, and controls a node. It has been meticulously developed from the ground up to effortlessly run any containerized software. Currently, it supports Ethereum nodes, Layer 2 nodes, and Farcaster Hubs. It is a public good because it is free, open-source, and enables people to run public infrastructure. Vote for NiceNode here: https://lnkd.in/dFnftkXe
