I am truly honored to have been selected to participate in such an exhilarating event celebrating Gemini abilities and cutting-edge AI technologies, all while commemorating International Women's Day. During the event, I had the privilege of contributing to empowering discussions and workshops aimed at shaping the future of technology. We engaged in hands-on workshops, exploring the capabilities of Gemini technology and Duet AI, and delved into the realms of Generative AI. Notably, I participated in the "Function Calling with Gemini" workshop led by Peter Danenberg, and the "Data to Generative AI with Gemini" workshop facilitated by Debi Cabrera. As an advocate for empowering women in tech and fostering career growth, I found the networking opportunities invaluable. Connecting with like-minded individuals, professionals, and enthusiasts in the tech community was truly inspiring. These connections not only expand networks but also open doors to potential collaborations and career opportunities. I would like to extend a special thanks to Aron Eidelman, who served as an exceptional Teaching Assistant during the sessions. His dedication to helping all developers debug their codes was instrumental in enhancing the learning experience for everyone involved. I am excited to continue leveraging these experiences and connections to support individuals in their journey towards fulfilling careers in the tech industry.

Had an amazing time at GDG Build with AI at the Google Sunnyvale campus! It was a fantastic opportunity to network with like-minded developers and stay up-to-date with the latest AI trends and technologies. Yesterday, I participated in the Google Developer Group (GDG) Silicon Valley "Build with AI 2024" workshop, which featured two sessions: "Function Calling with Gemini" and "Data to GenAI with Gemini Workshop." In the first session, we combined advanced AI with financial trading strategies to analyze market sentiment and execute trades. We used tools like LangChain and Blankly to backtest our strategies on historical data, which enabled us to visualize performance and optimize our approach in real time. Special thanks to Peter Danenberg Danenberg for teaching us how to handle this project. In the second session, we used Gemini to build a Java Cloud Function for a Gemini application and a Java Cloud Run application that interfaces BigQuery data with the web. Debi Cabrera and Chloe 🍤 Condon did an amazing job in these two labs, helping us to learn many new tools and how to use Gemini in developing our programs.

As a part of Google Developers Group, the Silicon Valley chapter is democratizing access to valuable knowledge and skills that is otherwise available behind a paywall at prestigious universities or conferences only. I’m super proud of how far we have come and the positive impact we are making every day :)
