Our beginning
Our story begins in 1969 when Tom Friedkin, guided by a belief in Toyota’s vision, leadership and business, established Gulf States Toyota. At the time, people considered this partnership to be risky, but Tom Friedkin had the foresight to see what GST could become. This vision has been carried forward across generations, and for more than a quarter-century, Dan Friedkin has led the Friedkin family of companies into a period of dynamic growth, while succeeding in new markets and industries.
