Please connect with them and say hello!    ❓: What has your career path looked like?  🅰️:  I have spent most of my career in the Managed Service Provider industry, starting as a field systems engineer around 17 years ago. My early days involved setting up workstations and printers. As time went on, I moved into more specialized roles, working on server and networking projects, and eventually delving into Citrix cloud solutions for our clients. Later in my career, I transitioned into Technology Consulting and Cybersecurity. In my last four years, I focused on building the cybersecurity practice for the MSP (Managed Services Providers) I worked with. This included setting up and managing a Security Operations Center, which supported the security services we offered to our 200+ clients and then later for 800+ clients after we were acquired.    ❓: Why did you choose to work at Echelon?   🅰️:  I have had the pleasure of meeting Dan Desko and working with some of the other team members at Echelon over the years on multiple cybersecurity projects. I always admired the mission of the firm, the core values, professionalism, and the work ethic that the team at Echelon has.      ❓: What is something you want to fix in the field of cybersecurity?   🅰️:  Easy button cyber solutions. There are way too many vendors out there promising quick security fixes through new products that only introduce more complexity and risk to the organizations that adopt them. The focus needs to go back to the basics.    ❓: What do you like to do in your free time?   🅰️:  I am an FAA commercial pilot and flight instructor. I like to spend my free time teaching others to fly or to travel to new airports with friends and family.    ❓: If you were in a zombie apocalypse, what character would you be and who would you want on your zombie fighting team?   🅰️:  I am a big Walking Dead fan, so I would be Rick Grimes and I would want Daryl and Michonne with me.

From my early days in public relations to leading strategic marketing initiatives, I've enjoyed driving results and seeing the effects of my work. Whether it was boosting conversion rates, driving significant revenue growth, or managing global campaigns, each role has been an opportunity to create meaningful impact and deliver tangible results. Along the way, I've been honored with industry awards and recognitions, fueling my passion for marketing and business. ❓: Why did you choose to work at Echelon? 🅰️: There are many reasons I chose to work at Echelon, but I want to highlight the culture and the people. Right away, I could tell that the people here are genuine, easy-going, and passionate about what they do. I thrive off that energy from others, so for me, working at Echelon became even more of a draw due to the team. ❓: What does a typical day at work look like for you? 🅰️: A typical day for me involves not only executing various marketing tasks but also working with our partners to amplify our message and best serve our customers. Additionally, part of my day includes looking 10 steps ahead to continually improve our marketing strategy to build awareness, engagement, and pipeline. ❓: What is something you want to fix in the field of cybersecurity? 🅰️: As simple as it might seem, I would fix criminals gathering password information. From compromising passwords of a hospital administrator to taking over a student’s online learning application, I believe it’s a basic right to know that the passwords we create serve to protect our information. No matter what industry you are in, we’re all deeply affected by the compromising of passwords—even on a personal level. This isn't something we should have to worry about being stolen. ❓: What do you like to do in your free time? 🅰️: I’m all about making memories, so I enjoy my free time with friends and family, whether it’s just sitting around the TV watching a NY Rangers game or something grander like a concert at Jones Beach. When I’m home, I relax on the couch reading some sort of fiction. ❓: If you were in a zombie apocalypse what character would you be and who would you want on your zombie fighting team? 🅰️: "The Walking Dead" was one of my favorite shows, and I admire how the character Michonne contributed. She strategically used Walkers as masking shields and played a key role in decision-making while supporting and listening to others. Michonne was adept at observing and voicing her opinion when it mattered, adapting smartly to the new world. She became a trusted sounding board for her peers and was involved in leading decisions. Most importantly, I would want her bravery and sword fighting skills.
