Attending Collision Conf next week? We’ll be showing you the cold calling strategy that has helped us achieve 70% YoY growth in the last 3 years. Let’s quickly set the scene… The increased adoption of automation has created armies of auto-spammers. Sellers have become so reliant on email as a channel that inboxes are becoming more overcrowded each day. Which has left the phone with a huge amount of untapped potential… From our own data we’ve seen that: 👉 C-suite executives are most receptive to cold calls and as a result, are more likely to accept a cold call. 👉 There is a 75% chance of connecting with a prospect on the first attempt (that’s significantly higher than the 1-5% response rate you get from email). 👉 Sellers who use the phone to multi-thread the buying committee can increase win rates in less time. 👉 It’s the most effective channel for generating pipeline – we see a 2x higher win rate from cold calling compared to other outbound channels. Next Tuesday Rob Tomchick and Frida Ottosson will dive into these data points in more detail. And show you the 7 core pillars of the cold calling strategy we’ve adopted at Cognism. Can’t make the session? Drop by Booth E275 and say Hi👋 to the team - we’ll send you the full deck covering our strategy as well as bonus resources (including our 2024 Cold Calling Report). See you next week

How can Sales leverage content to close deals in the ever evolving world of outbound? Chet Lovegren 🩺 & Ryan Reisert broke it down for us in 3 simple steps that are timeless 👇 1. Customer Success has a Crystal Ball 🔮 - They’re going to tell you all the problems that your prospects are going to see down the road. Understand your customer base and the results you’re achieving. 2. Work with Marketing to create and design that collateral 🎨 3. Extract as many pieces of micro content from one story & distribute that content across multiple platforms – be present within every corner of your buyers periphery 👀 Cross-functional collaboration is the key to close deals in 2024 🔑 💸

How can you create an effective Revenue Generating Media Machine?💰 Here’s how we did it👇 1. Create Value Loops (These are places for your ICP to follow, visit, attend, or subscribe to ie. Podcasts, Newsletters.) For this to work you must be value driven and customer focused on what you deliver 👥 2. Create Newsletters and Email Nurtures: Aim for consumption above engagements, and try to match your buyers intent as much as possible through your content 💌 3. Build Webinars & In-Person Events: Create regular value led content and experiences for your persona. The real value in your event is actually the follow - repurposing it post event across social 🗣 4. Podcast: Use your podcast as an in to start building relationships with target accounts 🎙 5. Organic Social: Think about every segment of your audience and how you can provide value to each of them through your social content 🗒 6. Partner with Influencers and SMEs: Find someone who can represent your brand as a natural fit. Pair these SME's with a Content manager and a Demand Generation manager to assure content alignment 🤝 🎥 Check out our Demand Gen Playbook Course online on our website if you'd like to go deeper on how we've built out our media machine! 100% free and un-gated access 🙌

Morgan J Ingram uses ONE cold-calling tip that leads to more conversions: The one-second rule. Here's how it works:   ⏲ Wait 1-1.5 seconds after your prospect is done talking 🎤 Give them an opportunity to talk 😁 Keep your composure when you are ready to talk When you interrupt your prospects, they lose their train of thought. This leads to a loss of value we could have obtained from the conversation. The one-second silence rule is how Morgan scheduled more meetings when he was an SDR and how he continues to improve his active listening skills. Want more tips like this? Tune into our upcoming cold calling live, with Morgan + guests Jack Frimston and Zac Thompson at 10 am EST and 3pm BST 💥
