    Someone told me starting a company is an act of confidence. I disagree - being a founder is being willing to be mortified. You put yourself out there, you share a dream, you’re exposed, and you build something while people in the cheap seats say it probably won’t work 🙃 Founders are a special tribe and I was so energized last week, connecting with fellow brave, mortified, and smiling founders - they’re building gas stations in space, healthy sugar, AI for food design, deep fake prevention, produce that reduces food waste, uterus stents, and more.  My personal highlight was #DaveRubenstein sharing his unfiltered perspectives for 75 minutes - he was humble, hilarious and incisive.     The #US and #India are set to become the two largest economies, leading the world in innovation. This isn’t a dream, it’s math. I joined the US-India Strategic Partnership Forum last week, connecting with change makers who are shaping the course of this partnership with grounded optimism and unparalleled competence. BigSpring was designed in India and built in the US. Our first customer was Uber in India, and our first engineer was in the US. I joked that I got offshoring all wrong, but I knew it would all even out. Today, BigSpring epitomizes the the power of a US-India partnership. Our Head of Engineering, Rajesh Ghosh has launched the first-ever sales coaching co-pilot localized for India. Our Head of Customer Growth and polygot Yin L.     2 phase shifts are happening with AI and GTM which are changing the way people work and the skills they need. Today advances in technology are changing the demand for skills at an accelerated pace. The 𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗳-𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘀𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀 is 𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝗳𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀, and in some tech fields it’s as 𝗹𝗼𝘄 𝗮𝘀 𝘁𝘄𝗼 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮 𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗳 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀. Companies have a critical role to play in addressing this challenge, and it’s in their best interests to get going on it in a serious way right now.     I’ve been reading every word that Adam Grant has written for years. Getting to know him as an enthusiastic advisor to BigSpring has been one of the most inspiring experiences of my professional life. He embodies the humility, empathy and generosity he writes about.  I can’t wait for his upcoming book #HiddenPotential, that’s in service of a deeply shared passion - exploring how we can elevate ourselves and others to greater heights.
