When co-founders Kevin Keller and Allen Shafer founded Fulton & Roark, they started from scratch to create an entirely new category of fragrance, one they’re calling American fine fragrance. “Whether you're talking about fine wine, beer, or chocolate, this thing kept happening where Americans imitate the European establishment, and they do a bad job,” Keller tells BeautyMatter. “Then, we eventually get weird and start doing things our own way—not attempting to imitate the European establishment, just doing things that make sense to us.
