Yesterday, friends, family, and fellow Barton Malow team members gathered to celebrate Chief Community Officer Ben Maibach III’s 60th Anniversary at Barton Malow and the immeasurable impact he’s had on us all. Supported by Ben’s humble leadership, Barton Malow has grown to be what it is today: a 100-year-old enterprise advancing the industry and building a legacy that shapes future generations. Beyond his professional achievements, Ben is known for his ability to develop relationships, care for people, and inspire those around him. His son, President + CEO Ryan Maibach, said it best yesterday when he said Ben is Barton Malow's core purpose and values personified. Congratulations, Ben, on this monumental milestone. It was a beautiful day to hit the links for the Engineering Society of Detroit's annual golf outing last week. 🏌🏻♂️ Many of our Detroit team members participated in the Barton Malow-sponsored event. Proceeds benefitted the ESD's scholarship program for high school and college students and its highly successful student outreach programs, including the Future City Competition and Engineering Academy for boys and girls.

Last June, our Charlottesville team celebrated two major milestones at the University of Virginia: the topping out of the Football Operations Center and the groundbreaking of the Olympic Sports Complex. We returned last week — almost a year to the day — for another set of milestones at these projects, including the topping out at the Olympic Sports Complex and a ribbon-cutting for the Football Operations Center. After 40 years of building in Virginia, Barton Malow is proud to continue partnering with the University in the construction of game-changing, cutting-edge facilities.
