In June, the Clark team in Buckeye, Arizona, executed a complex helicopter lift of 70 2,800-pound rooftop HVAC units. 🚁 The team started planning six weeks ahead of time, meeting weekly with the mechanical and airlift crews to finalize the lift plan. Each lift took approximately 2 minutes and 30 seconds, and the entire jobsite team took part to oversee the gates, support cleaning, and manage the lifts.

Construction is underway at the Milestone Reservoir and Pump Station project! 💧 Clark Water and Shirley teams completed clearing, grubbing, and installing the temporary crossing, performed safety scaling, and prepared for dewatering. This work was performed ahead of seasonal restrictions related to the green floater mussel, a federally protected species. This project transforms the previous rock quarry into a reservoir capable of holding one billion gallons of water, enough for 30 days of clean drinking water in low-water conditions. In Tacoma, WA, Guy F. Atkinson Construction crews are working on the new 2-mile-long expressway connecting Interstate 5 and State Route 509 near the Port of Tacoma. 🛣️ Crews recently began paving work for the season on the State Route 509 median, and are continuing work on 8 of 18 bridges, walls, and embanking and grading across the entire alignment. Once complete, this work will improve freight movement to and from the port, reducing truck traffic on local roads and expanding non-motorized travel options. Bicyclists and pedestrians will also be able to use a new shared-use path that will run parallel to the new expressway. #AtkinsonBuilds

Clark is proud to recognize the 38 Houston-area small business owners who completed the inaugural Strategic Partnership Program (SPP) in Houston! 🎓 Over the course of the eight-month program, graduates participated in weekly lectures taught by construction industry professionals and collaborated with industry peers to complete a final Capstone project. Representing the program's 8th market, this inaugural cohort joins a broader SPP alumni network of more than 1,600 small business leaders and construction entrepreneurs. Crews successfully turned over the first 15 townhomes to Foulger Pratt this morning at The Retreat at Brandywine Crossing! 🏘️ CFP, a division of Clark, is leading the wood-frame construction of 170 luxury rental townhomes in Brandywine, Maryland. With crews currently prepping for under slab MEP rough-ins for the 24-building pad, there are over 20 buildings all at different phases of construction from first-floor wood framing up through final paint and punch out, along with site work, sidewalks, and landscaping. An additional 22 units will be completed and turned over by the end of next week for leasing with Bozzuto Property Management. #ClarkBuildsMD

The Clark team achieved a major tower crane relocation at Century City Center 🏗️ Crews moved the tower crane from within the building’s footprint to a structural platform extending from level five, allowing the team to progress with structural infills and steel. The team spent months collaborating with the structural steel and crane trade partners and the structural engineer of record to engineer a platform that could support the crane’s load. Congratulations to the Clark team, RELIABLE CRANE SERVICE LLC Services, and the joint venture of THE HERRICK COMPANY, INC. and SME Steel on this amazing feat!
