The amazing week of the American Association of State Colleges and Universities (AASCU) Millennium Leadership Initiative was capped off by a thought-provoking lecture from my friend Timothy Mottet. We are blessed with incredible leaders who are willing to give of their time to support the next generation of leaders.

I had a great conversation Liann Herder about the new report from American Association of State Colleges and Universities (AASCU) and Ithaka S+R on the assessment of civic engagement in higher education. As the report makes clear, we have much more to learn about what strategies and tactics are most effective in promoting civic knowledge and engagement among college students.

The 25th Millennium Leadership Initiative cohort is here! We’re thrilled to host these 30 #HigherEd leaders and provide them with the skills, philosophical overview, and networks necessary to advance to the highest ranks of postsecondary education.  This year’s MLI participants carry the added distinction of being the initiative’s 25th cohort as we celebrate the program’s 25th anniversary.
