Creativity's root word, create is all about 'bringing something into being'. The whole essence of customer service is to enhance the satisfaction of customers with a product or service. As satisfaction (the fulfilment of one's wishes, expectations or needs) is dynamic, it will always take the ability to 'create new things' to really be successful with customer service. Just as there is no customer service without the absolute centricity of the concept of (and the word) customer, customer service operations will be obsolete without the needs of customers being met. It is important to have some long established (traditional) systems in place but creativity ensures that they are still able to deliver the end goal of customer satisfaction.
