My hands down favorite UX measuring tools in order from free to not so-free: 1. Microsoft Clarity: this tool has come a long way since it was first released, and I love the integration of AI to detect movements in recordings and consolidate them into trends. It also extracts insights and recommendations based on the user's behavior. Same with the Heat Mapping for click, scroll, and filter by device types. 2. HotJar: if you embed the code directly on the site, and not through GTM, or any other tag manager, the performance impact overall is minimal, and you still get session recordings, and heatmaps, and i love the UX of this tool as it has the ability for a single account to manage multiple properties and quickly switch between.
