Friday Night: We'll see some marine layer clouds and fog coming back up the coast tonight. Otherwise, skies will be mainly clear inland. It'll be a bit smoky and hazy downwind of the Upper Applegate Fire tonight. We could see some reductions in air quality in parts of the Rogue, Applegate and Siskiyou County valleys into early tomorrow. It'll be a fairly mild night on the westside with lows in the upper 50s to low 60s for the westside valleys and low to mid 50s for the Oregon Coast. Temperatures will only manage to get down to the upper 40s to lower 50s on the eastside and up in the mountains.

Saturday: We'll see a sunny day for Southern Oregon and Northern California. Some patchy smoke and haze is possible due to the Upper Applegate Fire. Along the coast, look for marine clouds and fog to clear. Coastal highs will be in the 60s, but it'll be a hot one inland. Temperatures will surge into the middle to upper 90s in our westside valleys. In the Klamath Basin, highs will climb into the lower 90s. The mountains will make it up into the 80s. We'll see winds picking up in the afternoon with most spots seeing breezy conditions late in the day. Gusts up over 20 mph will be pretty widespread with some spots pushing near 30 mph.

Extended: A cold front later in the weekend will drop temperatures slightly for Sunday and Monday. Most of the wet weather with this system will mainly stay to our north. Next week is looking sunny for inland areas with more above average temperatures. The coast will be cooler with periods of marine layer clouds and fog.

A more noticeable cool-down is expected late in the week with highs in the lower 80s for the Rogue Valley and some 70s in the Basin.
