WACO, Texas — Waco Police are investigating a shooting that took place just before 4 p.m. on Friday.
Police say the shooting took place in the 2500 block of Summer Avenue at 3:50 p.m. When officers arrived at the scene, they found a 46-year-old man that had been shot.
The man was given medical aid and taken to a local hospital and is currently alive, but in critical condition.
Officials say they are actively investigating the incident.
