Missing Persons Clearinghouse

K.S.A. 75-712b mandates the Kansas Bureau of Investigation (KBI) to be the central repository of information relating to missing and unidentified persons by the creation of the Missing Person Clearinghouse for the State of Kansas. The purpose for the repository is to improve the ability of law enforcement to locate and return missing persons, and identify persons or human remains for the timely notification of the family members of the missing or unidentified person.
