A Timeline of Resilience
2016
Founded in 2016, Resilience launches as Arceo to provide insurers with effective real-time data, analytics and context, necessary to safely and efficiently underwrite cyber risk.
2018
Arceo receives its second round of funding – rebranding as Resilience – building on its platform to create a holistic cyber risk management solution connecting cyber insurance to cybersecurity risk.
2020
Resilience brings its first insurance product to market as an MGA (managing general agent), starting a limited distribution partnership with 30 of the largest brokers in the US.
2022
Resilience launches the first iteration of its SaaS cyber risk management solution, helping clients holistically manage their cyber risk. In its first year, the Resilience Solution delivered a huge impact with ZERO solution clients forced to pay an extortion claim to resolve a ransomware incident.
2024
In April, Resilience launches the second iteration of its SaaS cyber risk management solution, expanding its suite of loss prevention and cyber risk quantification services.

Robert D. Brown III
Senior Director of Cyber Resilience
Robert has over 25 years of experience in strategic planning and advising, working across startups, government agencies, and Fortune 100 companies. One of the masterminds behind our popular cyber risk quantification (CRQ) training series, Rob is a decision scientist and strategic consultant assessing value and risk tradeoffs for complex projects in oil and gas, manufacturing, homeland security, pharmaceuticals, asset allocation, and more.
Raj Shah
Chairman, Co-Founder
Raj Shah has two decades of experience in the Air National Guard. Shah was previously the managing partner of the Pentagon’s Defense Innovation Unit and is renowned in the global cybersecurity community.
Vishaal “V8” Hariprasad
CEO, Co-Founder
Vishaal Hariprasad, known by his handle “V8,” has served as a cyber operations officer in the US Air Force since 2006, and remains active in the Reserves to this day. He founded Resilience in 2016 as a solution to the changing world of data science, security, and engineering when insurance wasn’t part of the conversation.
