“Are there any drawbacks/benefits to buying the unlocked version and using on the Verizon network, vs the Verizon variant. I plan on staying on Verizon, but dont like bloatware, and in past have used custom ROMs. But don't want to lose any features.”

• Yes there are drawbacks- the verizon version has milineter wave- that fancier kind of 5g signal. Regular unlocked does not

• Only Verizon variant comes with support of their 5G UW band. Unlocked variant does not have support of Verizon's UW network. However, unlocked variant will support standard 5G on Verizon.
