The WSRP Toolkit for Sharepoint contains two sample implementations of a WSRP producer for SharePoint. The first approach is based on a WSRP Producer that uses the HTML generated by SharePoint WebParts to render its content on a remote Portal using the WSRP standard.
The second approach is based on an ASP.NET page that, through a GridView control, can render the content of SharePoint Lists. A customized WSRP Producer is then used to expose the content to a remote Portal.

The Toolkit includes the source code for both solutions and a whitepaper on SharePoint interoperability using the WSRP Standard.

To learn more about the two solution watch the following videos:

In the downloads area you will find:
  • SharePoint WSRP Whitepaper
  • SharePointWSRPProducer: Visual Studio 2008 solutions for the WSRP Producer that uses List WebPart's HTML. THe solution include setup projects to build the setup for both x86 and x64
  • SPGridView: Visual Studio 2008 Solutions for the ASP.NET page that uses WSS WebServices to render the content of SharePoint Lists.
  • ASPNETWSRPProducer: Visual Studio 2008 solutions for the WSRP Producer that uses the SPGridView page to expose the content of List Web Parts to a WSRP Consumer

I know MOSS 2007 works with WSRP 1.0? Does it also work with WSRP 2.0 out of the box? If can you please point me to resources so I can self educate - thank you. Trevor
