[ ID 1: A digital, stylized, mostly black and white comic with four panels. It features two people, both thin. One has curly hair and wears a top, a flowery shirt over it and short. The other has straight hair, piercings and tattoos, and wears a bucket hat, a t-shirt and pants. Individual descriptions below:
1) They sit next to each other at a park, having a picnic, with many people far away doing the same. They smile with their eyes closed. Thereās also a small dog with them, on a leash, laying down. Text below them reads: We went to a local family picnic pride event.
2) Three kids appear, and two pet the dog. The third kid stands near them, wearing transgender themed socks and holding a transgender flag, which is blue, pink and white. There are lines around them, for emphasis. The person with the bucket hat tells the kids āYou can pet him, heās very calmā. Text below them reads: Some kids came over to pet huevo. The sight of one of them nearly brought me to tears.
3) A close up on the third kid, who looks up and smiles, eyes shining. Text around them reads: You just kept staring at us with a shy smile. A dream of what I wish ny past couldāve been.
4) Close up on the two people at the picnic, holding hands. Text below them reads: Were you dreaming of what your future might one day be?
