“The hardest part of the New York Botanical Garden project was selecting a path to pursue - we were not at a loss for any ideas. There were so many inspiring opportunities that the identity could have been shaped by. “And not only was the subject matter full of boundless possibilities, working with the NYBG internal team was a dream—they too were full of insights and enthusiasm for all of the possibilities.” Associate Creative Director Meg Forsyth joined Grafik Paragraph to tell the story of the NYBG rebrand, from the earliest sketches to activating the vibrant new identity across touch-points. 🌸 Read the interview here: https://lnkd.in/ex8kq4DN #Design #BrandTransformation

The UK General Election is fast approaching. And while it may be one of the most important elections held post-Brexit, it’s arguably one of the blandest. The parties involved feel tired and so is the electorate. So, what should they do? In her latest Forbes column, Global CEO Sairah Ashman explores why the main political parties need to find authentic ways to demonstrate conviction, vision, and human empathy - and ultimately, create momentum. 👇 #Politics #GeneralElection

“With 25 years of play and seven new instalments, Anno is seen as quite a Roman Empire-building classic in the world of strategy games. “The creation of the new masterbrand has been orchestrated with the intention of tapping into its spirit of craftsmanship and construction, forging a path for future versions of the game.” From being tasked with “sparking a desire to build” to using physical materials and traditional methods to imbue every aspect of the design system, It's Nice That unpacks our work for Ubisoft Anno: https://ow.ly/asYp50SgXF4 👈 #gaming #design

Crafted with care. 🔥 After 25 years and 7 instalments, Anno has solidified its position as a premier builder game in the strategy game market. Yesterday, Ubisoft relaunches the Anno brand with its first-ever brand purpose and a new brand design system. Our design ethos “Crafted with Care” inspired the handmade look and feel for the refreshed brand. The newly-created “A” symbol has the ability to take on a multitude of material textures, nodding to the different worlds and ages the game can expand into. We immersed ourselves across a range of tactile experiences and into the world of physical craft, collaborating with Gate Foot Forge to create the symbol from scratch using raw materials. ⚒️ #gaming #branding

Catch us at #LondonTechWeek HealthTech Super Connector next week! As the biggest UK HealthTech ecosystem event of the year, we’re looking forward to hearing from start-ups and scale-ups, pharma and MedTech digital innovators, investors, NHS and healthcare providers. We’re proud to be playing a role in bringing the event to life, alongside companies who are passionate about building the health tech ecosystem: AlbionVC, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Coulter Partners, HLTH Europe, HSBC Innovation Banking, NHS Innovation Accelerator, and Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati. 💫 Estelle Wackermann Bianca Bensemann Ian Coyne Find out more about the event below. 👇
💡 So I had this idea. Rather than all of the people passionate about creating a vibrant ecosystem in HealthTech doing their own things in London Tech Week, we decided we would do one really, really big thing together 📈 We have over 200 people registered for our first ever HealthTech Super Connector during #LondonTechWeek 📊 With 70% of those being start & scale up HealthTech companies and the remainder being tier 1 investors and potential customers (NHS, Pharma, MedTech and Tech) 🕸 The morning will focus entirely on closing the innovation gap in this ecosystem. We are excited for the first ever (of possibly many) HealthTech Super Connector Your Hosts: Alex Merwin // Amazon Web Services (AWS) Dominick Kennerson // HSBC Innovation Banking Estelle Wackermann // Wolff Olins Henry Stoneley // HLTH Europe Ian Coyne // Coulter Partners Jack Porter // NHS Innovation Accelerator Molly Gilmartin // AlbionVC Richard Goold // Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati And this would not be possible without our super hosts at the London Institute for Healthcare Engineering // Nicolas Huber

“Some political slogans work well. Arguably too well at times. “They shouldn’t feel like a full stop or a dead beat, they should ignite debate and fire you up because they tap into our deepest desires for control, change or freedom.” Associate Strategy Director Hanni Bateman comments for MediaCat Magazine on how marketers can use high-voltage, bite-sized lines to make political slogans palatable for people again.👇
