About us
We are the UK's leading provider of air traffic control services. In a typical year pre-Covid, we handle over 2.5 million flights and 250 million passengers travelling over the UK and across the North Atlantic. If you’ve been a passenger on a commercial aircraft flying in UK airspace then it's highly likely that we’ve handled your flight. Outside of the UK we offer leading air traffic products and services to customers including airports, airlines, air traffic service providers and governments. We currently provide these across parts of Europe, North America, the Middle East and Asia.

From modernising airspace design, to using new tools and technology, we’re committed to a sustainable future for aviation in the air and on the ground. Since 2008, NATS has helped to prevent over 10 million tonnes of co2 emissions by improving airspace design. On the ground, we have also invested in initiatives such as removing single use cups from our centres. We have made some great steps already, but we're only getting started. #WorldEnvironmentDay 💚

NATS reposted this
Our CEO, Jose Vicente de los Mozos, was recently in the UK where he had the opportunity to visit the headquarters of one of our major customers in the country, NATS, the UK's provider of air traffic control services. He met with Martin Rolfe, CEO of NATS, Kuldeep Gharatya, Director Technical Services and Tim Bullock, Director of Supply Chain at NATS. He also visited Indra's offices in Whiteley, where over 60 employees are based, many of whom are involved in the projects we are currently undertaking with NATS. Indra has been a technology partner of the British air navigation provider for many years. In 2022, NATS recognised Indra with the Supplier Gold Award, the highest recognition in its supplier performance measurement system. Among the many projects we carry out with NATS, Indra provides the technology for the ATM system, which is the centrepiece that enables efficiency in air traffic control. Furthermore, we collaborate with the iTEC SkyNex alliance, comprising leading European air navigation providers, to deploy the next generation air traffic management system in European control centres. This includes the modernisation of the Prestwick air traffic control centre. NATS's Intelligent Approach solution has recently been incorporated into Indra's air traffic system to increase capacity at busy airports. #ATM #AirTrafficManagement
