A huge thank you to Paul Davies Knowledge Transfer Manager School of Architecture and Built Environment National Brownfield Institute For bringing the buzz and excitement of the Boston Dynamics Robot dog to IWLEX. He was helping to promote The Business of Mindfulness - Mental Health and Wellbeing Support at IWLEX who were offering a FREE corporate wellbeing audit at IWLEX. As you are aware Wellbeing is a core pillar of IWLEX 2024, both personal and corporate. So Paul with his Robot and it's emphasis on Wellbeing ticked two of our boxes, it was particularly amusing when his Robot, gate crashed the conference slot on Automation - which was greeted with some laughter and confusion. Automation and Robotics The successful adoption of warehouse robotics relies on a harmonious integration of hardware and software. While hardware provides the physical capabilities for automation, software acts as the 'brain', coordinating, controlling, and optimising operations for maximum efficiency and adaptability. Our expert panellists will discuss the synergy between these components; essential for achieving 'return on investment' by realising the potential for productivity, speed, accuracy, and operational excellence. Only one week since IWLEX 2024. It was such a joy running the event and watching the show evolve. Constant improvement and a willingness to try new things means IWLEX will go from strength to strength. IWLEX is designed to service and give back to the community it serves. We have so many new ideas and learnings to implement, we almost wish we could run IWLEX every two months. Photo: Includes Maxpack | Packaging Partner

And what a week it has been for Axiom GB Ltd. Loading then setting up at IWLEX 2024. Taking part in the networking social after the first day with pizza, beer and an outrageously good Queen tribute act. Plenty of new and existing contacts to follow up. Back to reality returning to base and putting the stand items away and quoting lots of great potential projects. Winding down to the weekend, after all it is #poetsday. Enjoy your weekend, hopefully nice weather once again. #axiomgb #iwlex #weekend #wine #football

Thank you Ruth Waring FCILT for you support. IWLEX 2024 was truly memorable and we want to build on the good work you and others have done in 2025. We are purpose led event and need the support of the industry to make @iwlex thrive and continue grow. We want to make 2025 busier, bigger and even better!! We can’t wait until 2025! Contact [email protected] to exhibit in 2025

Just thinking about the amazing stuff that’s happened this week…we all saw how special IWLEX 2024 was as a conference, exhibition and gathering. There aren't many events that are trying as hard as IWLEX to promote gender equality and inclusion alongside the other great initiatives they have. The Women in Logistics UK event was amazing and the response phenomenal. We need to support events like these so they thrive and prosper. If you or any of your contacts have a company that would benefit by exhibiting at IWLEX in 2025, please contact [email protected]. You are assured of our support at the event next year!

A lovely visitor write up of their day IWLEX 2024. We are so proud of the event we put on this year. The quality of visitors was mind blowing - high level decision makers there to do business. I notice those with high value products, requiring love volume leads did particularly well with forklifts, material handling and cleaning units getting mega deals across the line. Yes - we want more volume, who doesn't. But as the sector sees the quality and value of our purpose led event and people such as Phil below (who I don't know) spread their experiences, the event will continue to grow! Can't wait to do #IWLEX again in 2025!

Head of Client Development at Cast UK – Wherever you are in the supply chain, we supply the talent

Driving home last night from IWLEX 2024 and reflecting on what a great day I'd had, I was thinking about what I enjoyed most... I had lined up a couple of meetings and it was nice to chat to clients and a former candidate we were working with a few months ago. I really enjoyed seeing the advancements in tech especially the Ai voice pick and that yellow Boston Dynamics robot dog who was doing his bit for raising awareness of mental health and helping to start conversations while he was doing his tricks 🐶 I was fortunate enough to speak to some really interesting people including the guys who were putting the automation into B&Ms new shed in Warrington (wow!) and also a family run 3PL down on the south coast who started out in agriculture (recently watching the latest season of Clarkson's Farm helped a lot!) I think what I enjoyed most was the discussion around People & Skills with David Coombes, Jennifer Swain and Clive Brady (Richard Atkinson was brilliant!) .....right up until I won the wine hamper thanks to The BWA! Sorry everyone, winning the wine wins hands down! 🍷 A great day learning what's happening in the industry I love and networking with Logistics key players. See you next year #IWLEX Oh and for those who voted in my poll... 22 pens, a pallet notepad, a notebook, a torch, 3 bottle openers, 2 packs of mints, a stress ball, a tote bag and some post-it notes!
