He comes back home after a gruelling day with nothing but you on his weary mind to find you already tucked into bed, sleeping peacefully.

A soft adoring smile forms on his lips.

He strips himself away from the exhausting weight of his gear and uniform and shuffles into bed, desperately needing to feel you against him.

You slowly blink awake as the bed dips and you feel the tender touch of his calloused fingers on your hips.

You open your eyes to greet him.

“Hey, Si.” you mutter sleepily, half-lidded eyes glancing at him as you smile lovingly.

“Hey, love.” he whispers and his lips capture yours in a sweet kiss, his tongue swiping over your upper lip.

Your lips fall open instinctively, inviting him in.

He reaches over and caresses your thigh, grasping the soft flesh with his rough hand and propping your leg on his.

His hand trails up and finds shelter on the small of your back and he pulls your body closer to his until your bodies are fully flushed together.

Your lips move smoothly against each other, tongues dancing together.

You both are completely bare as your soft skin kisses his rough and scarred one, bodies tangled and the strings of your souls woven together.

You pull away breathless,

"Good night, love." he whispers and kisses your forehead.

"Good night, Si." you mumble as your eyes get droopy.

And you fall asleep in each other's arms.
