The instructions for setting up the Google tag are different for tag IDs starting with "AW-" (usually, Google Ads accounts) and tag IDs starting with "G-" (usually, Google Analytics properties). Follow the instructions below that correspond with your tag.
Before you begin
You can integrate your Wix site with Google for free but you must have a Premium Wix site and a connected domain.
- In your Wix account, on the site dashboard in the left navigation panel, click Settings.
- Under “Advanced”, click Marketing Integrations.
- In the “Google Ads Conversions” box, click Connect.
- Click Add Google Ads Tag.
- In your Wix account, on the site dashboard in the left navigation panel, click Settings.
- Under “Advanced”, click Marketing Integrations.
- In the “Google Analytics box”, click Connect.
- Click Add Google Analytics ID.
