Most of the sprites here are either taken directly one to one from the GBA titles or custom made by people from deviantart I’m pretty sure, and of course me. So unless I’m making a full custom sheet, these aren’t being uploaded there, especially considering I don’t wanna claim too much credit for what is essentially just palette swapped GBA sprites.
I was trying really hard to find the proper credits to everyone too, but sadly the original owner of the base sheet I used to organize everything decided not to credit literally anyone and decided to say “Credit to the respective owners” so I’m currently without any leads lol

well for the first bit, movieclips are usually a complex object, if you need to submit more than one you are *probably* doing it wrong / spamming
(aka it should just be a rig of your character – 1 MC, if it’s multiple perspectives, it should be on multiple frames – still 1 MC)
as for 2
well
nobody wants “my oc walking in a movieclip” it’s just not useful for anyone but you-

it\’s really hard honestly, i don\’t even like mine all that much but it\’s the general gist of the series without going into detail so it definitely works.
if i had any tips? Think of general ideas/locations that your characters are usually put in. What\’s the common theme of the overarching story? If there isn\’t one, what ties these characters together? Stuff like that, simple questions, can lead you to a somewhat solid answer, maybe a few google searches of rhyming words and boom, you have yourself a solid name that works and intrigues your audience.

I have the major urge to ask, which one do yall find more enjoyment out of, making stickfigures or animating?
i personally feel as if I enjoy making stickfigures way more, it shows off a lot more artistic freedom and I love working with the limitations of the app to make something stylistic and moveable at the same time.
-
Figures, otherwise I would’ve spent the past year animating and doing nothing else, and obviously that isn’t case because my figures are far better than they were at the beginning of the year. Meanwhile, my animating skills… I don’t actually know how good they are, because I haven’t properly animated in so long
-
I like doing both equally tbh
But there’s a tiny part of figure-making that I find more enjoyable, that being constantly finding new ways to make and do things. Figure-making to me is like drawing, but instead, I can do more with that drawing than just a single image. It’s fun because I get to then animate the characters I create, which helps bring them to life.

That’s so true. The whole reason I got into it is because I have a big imagination, but I can’t make come to life without breaking the law. (Joke I’m not a criminal) Now that I’v found sticknodes not only is it easy, but fun as well. Collab’s are especially fun. Never did one but wish to do one. (The joke is because I love guns, violence, and fighting all together. Madness Combat

I’m a full-on Animator, creating sticks is like my kryptonite.
Honestly might just hire someone to help me with that department at some point lmao.

Very expressive and eye pleasing sprites, and since they are custom and have originality I have little doubt that this will be accepted and get UC vote too! Nice work!
I’ve loved your work for the longest time
Did you make this?
If yes then maybe you should upload these custom sprites to the spriters resource
https://www.spriters-resource.com/custom_edited/sonicthehedgehogcustoms/
If you did not make this and you got it from someone from there, then dont because someone uploaded it before you could, and nothing could replace that.
