I fully acknowledge this is supposed to be a frustrated rant and, really, Go off, that’s a Mood. Heck that’s a Mood for every artist in existence probably. Drawing is difficult. Full stop. OP can stop reading here if all they wanna see is validation on their post bc that’s valid af
But I just hope yall later remembered that every single thing is difficult and art isn’t particularly harder than, IDK, cooking or astrophysics or soccer. Our society has this idea that drawing is somehow special and you need to be “good” at it, but it’s just A Thing You Do. You don’t have to be exceptional at it.
I hope OP and everyone remembers that, even in the worse moments of frustration. I think more people should keep drawing, just doing art and being happy with it, even if sometimes it feels awful and you don’t even remember what a basic geometric shape looks like lol
