Privacy policy on the protection of personal data

Treatment of your data

The European Union is committed to user privacy. The policy on protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data by the Union institutions is based on Regulation (EU) 2018/1725 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 23 October 2018 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data by the Union institutions, bodies, offices and agencies and on the free movement of such data.

How do we treat e-mails you send us?

When you send an email message or a request to the Helpdesk service, your personal data is processed only to the extent necessary to reply. If the management team for the mailbox is unable to answer your question, your email will be forwarded to another service. You will be informed, via email, about where it has been sent.

If you have any questions about the processing of your email and related personal data, do not hesitate to include them in your message.

The processing of personal data by our Helpdesk is covered by a privacy statement of which the specific processing has been notified to the Data Protection Officer of the European Commission with the reference DPR-EC-00493 and published in the register of all operations processing personal data. You can access the register on the following link: http://ec.europa.eu/dpo-register.
