Cassian took a deep breath as he and Tanwyn approached the front door, turning to look at his girlfriend with an easy grin. “You ready?”

“You’re acting like I’m facing a firing squad,” Tanwyn quipped back with a roll of her dark blue eyes. “Relax, Cassian. It’s going to be fine.”
