It’s really funny seeing this turn into a meme because I actually know who this officer is. One of my family members works with the police from that county like a lot. It’s kinda cathartic but also mortifying (cathartically mortifying?) seeing the lengths that cops will go to lie about shit like this and try to bolster their own public image as protectors through snake oil like these hilariously overdramatized performances.
That same family member who works with Courtney kept insisting that “NO, this is what Fentanyl does to your body! Are you kidding me?” And for those who are unaware, the “symptoms” in the performance are the exact opposite of what experts and specialists regarding opioids and other drugs would expect to see in someone who is exposed to the substance or overdosing. Apparently it’s easy to convince anyone of anything regarding drugs if you inherently put your trust in the PD as our only source of protection. There’s a lot of tea to spill even if you only know someone else who work with the cops.
I was thinking about the Sonic and Megaman crossovers and it got me this idea and… well, I had to draw it! haha!
It is honestly a little funny to see X with Sonic themed armor I giggled so much while drawing the design.. XD I think it would be a lot more fitting for Megaman to wear something like that…. ..but anyways, X still looks cute in here lol
I have been insufferable. Don't even know why it became a thing, I was just thinking about it lately and then I couldn't *stop* thinking about it.
Anyway watch Robocop (1987) if you haven't, provided you are okay with over the top 1980s schlock violence/gore and go in with the understanding that it's a satire on corporatism and 1980s US society. I think the Satire is obvious but some people are lost on it and think it's just a weird wacky violent movie... Which it is (and I love those), but also it's working on another level that gives context to some of it.
RoboCop is such a good movie, I love Robocop.

The Scooby-Doo Project (1999)
fun fact this special scared so many kids so fucking badly (b/c the blair witch aspect was played weirdly straight) that CN never aired it again
you’re telling me this is real and not a shitpost
I seriously thought this shit was fake until I looked it up
that one time a parody of a fake found footage film is believed to be fake until footage is found.
also extended, and I like the ordering of scenes in this one slightly better: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SPZWfXLTDuo
EDIT: forgot the link >_<
mushroom synths
I love it someone please explain wtf I just watched
@national-shitpost-registry This is a modular synth! Basically an instrument that works with voltage that you can control in order to generate and modulate different parameters to create sound, logic and, eventually, music. Here what is happening is that the mushroom is controlling the voltage thanks to the pin. By doing that, all the parameters connected to the mushroom went crazy, probably because it generates a really weird voltage and in a very random way. You can check a youtuber called Andrew Huang and his music and also Omri Cohen to learn how to do it yourself with a freeware called VCV Rack!
The electricity generated by the mushrooms has to do with the hyphae, the ‘roots’ of the mushroom, that make up the organism! The ends of the hyphae contain potassium ions that the mushroom uses to send electric pulses across its mycelium! It’s theorised that this is how distant parts of a mushroom ‘know’ what’s happening to each other!

i think about this a lot
The guy got his life and career destroyed by his divorce, cut him some slack.
he was also sexually assaulted by a man who could destroy his career
protect him
reblog if the man on the right is just as beautiful as the man on the left
people grow old? like, that’s a thing that happens? leave my guy alone.
This man deserves everything let him he happy
Ok… This is what happened to Fraser
-His wife ditched him and asked for 900k a year,
-He was sexually assaulted which he said kicked him into a deep depression
-He stated that the stunts from the 3rd Mummy movie completely destroyed his body and he was in and out of the hospital for 7 years even having to get surgery to repair his vocal cords.
-He apparently blamed himself for all this which only worsened his depression.
This man has literally been through hell this past decade so please lets cut him some slack and wish him the best
All this but also that picture on the right is a really bad paparazzi photo compared with a professional quality movie promo still. No one looks good when some random person snaps you on the street, regardless of who you are.
Compare with this image from the GQ article last February:
Proper lighting, professional setting, good angles etc.
The dude is 49 and has had a rough couple of decades, but he’s still lovely to look at, and I’ll fight anyone who says otherwise.
Plus, now he’s in Doom Patrol, which makes me happy af.
And let’s not forget he was probably slightly to severely dehydrated to look that buff in he first photo.
And I’m so pleased he got work again he seems like a good sort, and from the stealth pilot in Titans, Doom Patrol looks like it should be good.
It shouldn’t even matter what he’s been through. Body shaming of ANYONE is wrong.
This post keeps getting better and I’m here for it
I love this whole thread
Just look at how beautiful this man is. He’s still one of the reasons why my standards for men are so high
IN THIS HOUSE, CHILDREN, we do not even breathe a S I N G L E wrong word about Brendan Fraser
You *points at everyone* You wanna have a go at him? You fuckin’ fight me first.
My ageing ass needed this tbh
Always stan Brendan Fraser
This post gets better every time I see it.
