rbing this again just to say that some of the people bringing up polyamory/polygamy are kinda missing the point.

yeah ot3s are a thing but multishipping means shipping the same character with more than one character(s) separately, as in not within the same relationship. because they aren’t real and you don’t have to find a “morally acceptable” way for them to be with multiple people, so they “aren’t cheating”, such as being in a poly relationship.
