I noticed that "Estrellato" had six edits on eswiki, however, these were not live edits and therefore could not be checked by me. So, considering this, and that the account has not been used any further, I have made the usurp. Thus, Done EPIC (talk) 00:14, 1 January 2024 (UTC)

I don't think it should affect - neither of the accounts have edited for over 18 years, and as it is an alt account and not a main account, this user can still use their main account if they were to come back in the future. According to the global rename policy, the requester must not be seeking the rename to conceal or obfuscate bad conduct. You are a sockpuppet (or undeclared "alternative account") of Fitadurex2972, who is indefinitely blocked from the Portuguese Wikipedia as a result of a unanimous decision in a block discussion for reasons including vandalism. Furthermore, here you admit to own the account StrawberryBot, which was recently vandalizing this Meta-Wiki. Not a problem. Just checked though, and "A.B.123" is similar to the existing usernames "AB123", "Ab123" and "Abi 23".
Now, I did some further looking, and the only edit from "AB123" was a test edit on enwiki in 2005, while "Abi 23" has no edits, so those shouldn't be a problem.
But "Ab123" has five edits and logged in during 2020 according to CentralAuth, so that one makes me a bit unsure as the account has been used and it's indicated that it will be likely used in the future too. So, it's a bit of a borderline case, I'm unsure about renaming but I will also let other renamers give their input here. EPIC (talk) 11:51, 16 January 2024 (UTC)

I don't see any issue with this username, as there is enough difference between Ab123 and A.B.123. Since the target username is not registered, this is no longer a usurpation request, so I am marking this request as Not done for future reference. @多多123, please submit a new simple rename request at Steward requests/Username changes#Simple rename requests. @Yahya It is a partial blockade, which I consider unfair due to the circumstances in which it was implemented (it involves editorial stalking and other matters). However, it doesn't stop me from editing. Is this an impediment to a username change? .J. tlk 13:30, 30 December 2023 (UTC)
The global rename policy states that the user should not be seeking the rename to conceal or obfuscate bad conduct. The requested username is visibly linked to the current username, but as the block on ptwiki is indefinite we would at least need to consult with the admins, first of all, before this rename is made. Comment Comment I just saw that this user has some contributions on plwiki, but the only larger contribution was adding an infobox to an article, and no edits have been made from the account since 2010. Considering this, and the fact that the account is not connected to SUL, I think it proves that this account will likely not be used in the near future.
