@Ajwaan, @Nehaoua: ar:wikt:ويكاموس:سياسة اختيار الإداريين (transcluded on ar:wikt:ويكاموس:إداريون/تصويت) claims to be policy, and requires 15 votes for a successful request for adminship. I can't find any discussion or other evidence of consensus to make it actually a policy, and given that only one RfA on ar:wikt:ويكاموس:إداريون/أرشيف ترشيح الإداريين has ever reached that level of support, I don't think it actually has the support of the local community. I would suggest cleaning those pages up by tagging them historic or proposed.

@Igor Windsor: I have talked to the stewards on IRC, and apparently it is technically not possible as long as there are users with bureaucrat rights on the wiki. They are currently discussing internally whether we can find a solution, as I have informed of the importance of getting these roles assigned before you become a bureaucrat on the 30th. @AmandaNP: I'm not going to have the time between now and the new year to complete the cleanup of all of the images on that Wiki that violate copyright. The task is a bit more complicated than I initially expected (there are basically no copyright tags on the Uyghur Wikipedia, so it takes a bit of work to find the source files or to exhaustively search for the source files and fail to find them), and this is taking longer than I initially expected as a result. My understanding of Steward requests/Permissions/Minimum voting requirements is that would only warrant a three-month extension based upon the amount of participation in the RfA, so I don't think requesting anything more (such as the six-month extension you hesitate on) would be warranted at this time. However, I do think that a three-month extension is reasonable since I've handled about 50% of the images in my first three-month term as an admin thus far. — Red-tailed hawk (nest) 06:57, 18 December 2022 (UTC)

@AmandaNP: the only person that shows opposition is user:Épine, other than that user:haryad only recommends that we should not add more admins "because we don't need more admins as it's not benefits the project", clearly he is not opposed to more admins; but i as an administrator who patrols ckb wiki actively every single day knows what's the best for the project in the current situation; i say that we need more admins to fill in necessary gaps that the project needs, obviously as the day passes current admins cannot actively participate and carry out their duties and do what's best for the project in time, and the election past two weeks already; although the desired time is one week but i ended up delaying it; waiting for more users to participate; calculating what's the best for the project i supported the candidate to serve as an admin, thanks. 🌸 Sakura emad 💖 (talk) 20:34, 17 December 2022 (UTC)

The thing is is opposition doesn't always come in opposes. and as a steward I have to take all feedback in. Aca has been waiting months for Interface Admin privileges, since the three bureaucrats on sh.wiki are inactive. An election is taking place for a new bureaucrat (User:Igor Windsor, election on sh.wiki) who has great support, but will not be concluded until 30th of December. As many changed need to be made after we got the language converter merged (on Gerrit), this is too long to wait and would be a considerable blocker.

In my opinion, that policy applies only after the permissions were actually removed. @PirjanovNurlan can you please clarify why you blocked them, removed their request, and protected the election page so that only admins can edit them? I tried figuring it out myself but the google translate didn't help much. I can't really make sense of the situation here.
@Рахман3 what you created is to request comments on issue involving meta wiki. You will need to read the guidelines at Requests for comment and follow the guidelines there. However, I recommend doing as Amanda said above and try contacting other admins from the site first. If there is consensus either locally or in the global RFC you started, privileges will be removed, but it can't be done without consensus. Consensus is an agreement of the community to do something. In this case, the appropriate community is either kaa.wikipedia local community, or the global community (composed from participants of all Wikimedia projects). As it was noted above, the global community discusses matters like this one in a global RfC like th. As I already noted above, the Wikimedia Stewards are not dictators, and may not unilaterally remove admins – only the community has that authority. SRP is simply not an appropriate venue for this kind of an issue, as Stewards aren't authorized to take a decision here. Martin Urbanec (talk) 17:21, 29 December 2022 (UTC)
