I would like to contest the above user request due the fact that (1) He is not meeting minimum edit counts required i.e. 500 edits (required) vs. 186 edits (actual) -->Edit Counter; and (2) The voting period also didn't followed/complied with ms.wikipedia.org's guideline i.e. obtain more than 70% votes in the following situation (a) There were 14 votes within a week, OR (b) ballout has been on going for more than 14 days. For this case, the user failed to meet all requirements. As such, I disagrees for him to be appointed as the sysop at ms.wikipedia.my. Zamwan (talk) 14:22, 14 November 2016 (UTC)

Hi @Murbaut:, you are correct. Nomination to be an admin is allowed at ms.wikipedia.org as long as you have meeting its pre-requisite requirements. Your case is totally different with Polar. Zamwan (talk) 11:33, 15 November 2016 (UTC)

Your statement on admins do not care about vandalism is totally misleading. I understand your desire to be an admin and tackle vandalism but sadly to say, each wiki communicate has their own requirements and we (including you) should obey it. While Admin would be ok, we don't have a Bureaucrat currently, and i think it would be helpful if someone had the ability to promote other users to be admins on the wiki. I have 479 total contributions to the site, and have been continuously active since joining at the beginning of April, 2016.

I want to add a bit of information to the words by our respected bureaucrat DidiWeidmann. According to the rule about administratorship in Wikipedia in Esperanto, "If some administrator has not made any contribution to the Wikipedia since one complete year, his administratorship must be removed automatically by a steward. The administratorship removal must be announced beforehand on the Forum and on the talk page of the concerned user" (Se iu administranto ne faris ajnan kontribuon al la Vikipedio ekde unu plena jaro, li estu aŭtomate maladministrantigita de stevardo.             • Masti didn't remove any CU rights, only the sysop rights that were requested here. Unless you can point to a specific conflict of interest that Masti might have (or could even possibly have) in removing the rights, then I don't think it's useful to bring it up. That part of the steward policy is obviously meant to prevent stewards from being "super-users" on their home project, and I don't think that actioning uncontroversial requests on SRP is at all part of that. Note that while I dislike the COI policy being thrown around in obviously clear-cut cases, I also don't see why it is so hard for stewards to simply recuse from taking actions involving their home wikis and prevent these discussions altogether... – Ajraddatz (talk) 01:14, 16 November 2016 (UTC)
