Global bot status for Mjbmrbot

I requested for bot flag in many wikis and i got about 33 flags, the task of my bot in other wikis is just edit interwikis, and i think this is best choice for me to get a global flag, i know it has done just a little edits (about 5000), but it had good contribution Mjbmr ^Talk 11:46, 31 October 2010 (UTC)

Comment — Sorry, I had to make something clear first. Meta's bot policy says, global bots need to be qualified "with long-term contributions to back up its trustworthiness". As far as I know, this bot is doing fine, but it is too young to get this flag. It was registered in October 1, 2010. Comment Please remember to update your bot software regularly. This morning, your bot moved the bjn, koi, and mrj interwikis to the top of the interwiki list of a page (see here). This is wrong, and it indicates that you most probably have not updated your bot's software for several days. In the pywikipediabot software, which you are apparently using, the problem was fixed on October 23 already (revision 8683). You are apparently using a software version that is older than that. Meanwhile, the current version of the pywikipediabot software is revision 8695, so your bot is probably lacking at least the last ten improvements and bugfixes. The bot policy on the English wikipedia states: Bots running standard tools such as the pywikipedia framework should be updated to the latest version daily. No, I updated it every day, but recently i update wikipedia_family.py from the main source and i got some error like this (Family instance has no has attribute 'alphabetic_revised'), then i had to change it manually to add new languages, if the bugs on main source get fix then i will update it every day Mjbmr ^Talk 06:57, 4 November 2010 (UTC)

No objections if you regularly update the pywikipediabot software that your bot uses. How often (approx.) do you do that? --UV 22:06, 29 October 2010 (UTC)

Hello, yesterday I've developped a script to maintain the interwikis FA links, however I've noticed that tenths of the Featured Articles links where missing everywhere.

Moreover, I use redirect.py on a few wikis and would be pleased to extend its destinations. JackPotte 22:10, 2 November 2010 (UTC)

Comment — This bot is flagged in only 7 wikis, and blocked in another 4. Most of its edits in frwikt, mrwikt, and frwiki. In my view, this bot isn't enough trustworthy with a global bot flag. — Tanvir • 10:47, 3 November 2010 (UTC)

Comment — I personally trust the bot owner, but I think that we must wait a bit before granting a global bot flag. Before adding {{LinkFA|fr}} on many wikis, please check that the template exists and works finely. -- Quentinv57 11:04, 3 November 2010 (UTC)

Oppose The bot doesn't meet the requirements. Ask more local flags, especially in major wikis, and come back to ask a global flag. Note that also global bots must have a local page with contact on pages where they operate. And that many wikis don't allow bots with no flag or no application for flag. --Hercule 14:20, 3 November 2010 (UTC)

Comment I cannot find any local flag request for adding link fa. It must also be sure that the bot won't start any edits wars with sulutil:LinkFA-Bot who run this job on all major wikis. Merlissimo 02:27, 4 November 2010 (UTC)

It doesn't make sense to add link fa to wikis without stars enabled on Common.js or as gadget. It would be also nice to know if link fa was added or removed by reading only the summary e.g. on watchlist. Summary should also start with "Bot:" or "Robot:" because bot flag is lost after 30 days.
