Global bot requests

Global bot status for UltraBot

I (ml:User:Junaidpv) apply to have the global flag for my UltraBot. My bot just do interwiki and double redirects tasks, except in my home wiki, where it is a full blown bot there. thanks UltraBot 08:36, 26 August 2009 (UTC)

Hello, I am sorry but IMHO the bot does not fulfill "the bot must already be active on several wikis, with long-term contributions to back up its trustworthiness" from the global bot requirements, other opinions are welcome. Best regards, --birdy geimfyglið (:> )=| 10:23, 26 August 2009 (UTC)
I second that. Botflag on only one wiki and active for less than two weeks is clearly not fullfilling the requirements. Thanks. Nakor 14:06, 26 August 2009 (UTC)
Now I have flags on two more wikis :) --UltraBot 05:36, 30 August 2009 (UTC)
Keep that up and in time you can request a global bot flag again. For now this request will not be fulfilled. --Erwin 08:32, 30 August 2009 (UTC)

Global bot status for BokimBot

Thank you! Bokim 08:14, 28 August 2009 (UTC)

Ah, and BokimBot execute the cosmetic changes only in his home wiki.--Bokim 08:16, 28 August 2009 (UTC)
It seems you've only been active on multiple projects for about a month now. You do have a number of contributions and bot flags, but I'm not quite convinced that a global bot flag can be given yet. In any case, I'm leaving this open for more comments. --Erwin 08:32, 30 August 2009 (UTC)
I believe the flag should be granted. The requirements are met, and an examination of multiple edits, across various projects, did not raise any red flags (no pun intended). The vast majority of the accounts already flagged as bots locally have had the status and have been editing since either May or June (a handful since July). I see no problems, and it would probably be overkill to withhold the global bot flag in this instance. Redux 02:37, 4 September 2009 (UTC)
Done.--Jusjih 02:41, 6 September 2009 (UTC)

Global bot status for MalafayaBot

I decided to apply for global status rather than asking permission one by one when I decide to run on a wiki. Thanks, Malafaya 14:43, 31 August 2009 (UTC)

Done Criteria met, no problems here. Global flag granted. Redux 22:29, 6 September 2009 (UTC)

Global bot status for FoxBot

FoxBot simply maintains interwiki links. It has some other functions on nl wiki where it already has permission to do so.

Thanks in advance Foxie001 12:12, 13 September 2009 (UTC)

Looks fine to me. --Erwin 16:51, 13 September 2009 (UTC)
I knew I recognized the name!It looks like it's been doing this fine for a while already without problems. Jamesofur 06:31, 16 September 2009 (UTC)

Hello, is this a bot-flag request locally for co.wikipedia only? (asking to be sure because it is in the global botflag section). If You wish to have local botflag on co.wiki please make a request there and link it here, they don't have the standard bot policy it seems. Best regards, --birdy geimfyglið (:> )=| 14:07, 12 September 2009 (UTC)
done now, per local bot policy. If You still wish to apply for global bot, please open a new request and explicietly say so, thanks, best regards, --birdy geimfyglið (:> )=| 21:40, 12 September 2009 (UTC)

MalafayaBot@liwiktionary

I know it's a bit early to ask but I may forget it later :). By the way, above on this request it says "no standard bot policy" but wikt:li:Wiktionary:Bot policy does exist and discussion here says it's been implemented. Thanks, Malafaya 17:58, 26 August 2009 (UTC)

Hello, indeed it is too early, the local request has been made today and the bot has 0 edits, so it does neither fulfill the standard bot policy requirements nor the voting time, please be patient until it fulfills one of them, thanks, --birdy geimfyglið (:> )=| 19:20, 26 August 2009 (UTC)
Thanks, Spacebirdy. I will be patient :). Malafaya 08:18, 27 August 2009 (UTC)

FoxBot@gvwiki

The owner (gv:Ymmydeyr:Foxie001 requested a bot flag on our bots page, but we have no bureaucrat on gvwiki (I am the current admin). They were recommended to apply here for a bot flag, but haven't yet. As FoxBot is filling our recent changes page I thought I'd better request one myself. Please let me know if there's a problem.
