Comment Comment I boldly suggested to implement the standard bot policy, at the villag pump of the Māori Wikipedia. If such ultimate wording ("it will be implemented in two weeks if there is no objection") does not befit a plain nobody, or anybody, like me, I kindly ask a steward to co-sign, or to delete the request. He was asked on a user talk page and hasn't made an edit for more than 2 months. It's not stewards' duty to e-mail bureaucrats to check their availability and activeness. Moreover, the requests on the fawiki have been unprocessed for A LONG time, so this particular bureaucrat should've dealt with the requests earlier. But far be it from me to criticize other wikis' processes and bureaucrats. I'm sorry if I have offended your project or your hard work, but I saw this request as a clutter on this page and since there was no response from the only recently active bureaucrat, I found it OK to just proceed with the granting. As I know on persian wikipedia any bot should have at least five support votes otherwise we don't consider it as a community demand. That bot had only 4. That's the reason. Hessam 22:23, 10 March 2008 (UTC)
I wrote to one of bureaucrats but he moved my request to community page [5] with a persian comment which unfortunately I couldn't understand. I know that every wiki has their own bot policy but then why for example Le Pied-bot or Purbo T got the flag nevertheless they registered much later and had done less contributions. his request for flag, granted after 23 minutes [6].

  • Reason for removing: Owner is inactive since September 2007, bot has no contributions at all, local community was not aware of owners request, purpose of this bot is unknown and there is no info on bots user page.

Request for granting status was also put on local wikb, at 22:46 [7], but after getting status he removed request at 02:39 [8] (reason why bots purpose is unknown), therefore local community was not given chance for approval or expressing any thoughts about this.
