Are you a Periscope user? Don’t lose your followers! Transition to broadcasting on Happs and bring your fans with you.

Plus, you’ll also be able to multicast to Facebook, Twitch, Twitter, and YouTube at the same time. It’s the perfect way to diversify your audience and reach more people.

This article will show you how to make the switch. And remember: If you fail to transition your Periscope viewers over to Happs, you may lose them forever!

(Background: Periscope recently announced it will end operations as a standalone app by March, 2021. The Twitter-owned company referred to its current operations as “unsustainable.”)

“Happs is the best place for Periscopers to move their community. You can monetize. You can multicast to different platforms. Make sure you join Happs.”

Step-by-step guide

Happs is the perfect destination for Periscopers looking for a new home. To make the transition, we recommend the following steps:

  1. Create a Happs account. It’s key to do this before you tell your audience you’re moving to Happs. Otherwise, they won’t know where to find you.
  2. Create a new broadcast and connect your Periscope account. (More info on how to do this.)
  3. In the bio of your Periscope profile, explain that you’re moving to Happs and include your Happs invite link. That way, viewers know you’re making the transition and how they can keep watching you.
  4. Go live on Happs and multicast to Periscope. In the title, make sure to give viewers your Happs invite link (or your profile link).
  5. Explain the move to your Periscope audience and promote your new home on Happs.
  6. Invite viewers from Periscope to join Happs with your invite code.
  7. Viewers get 100 free coins to support your work.

Here’s a screen by screen breakdown of how to set up Happs to multicast to Periscope:

Click on your account avatar and then select “Settings.”

Then, click on “Socials & Multicasting.”

Then, choose “Connect your Periscope.”

You’ll be taken to Periscope where you can authorize Happs to access your account there. Just click “Authorize.”

You’ll see an approved screen at Happs once your account is connected.

You can then see all your connected accounts and choose which social platforms will receive your Happs broadcasts.

It’s that easy! If you need help with any of this, please contact Happs support via email.

“Periscope is shutting down. Where are you going to broadcast from next? The answer is Happs. First of all, multicasting. When you go live on Happs, you also have the option to put that broadcast through to YouTube, Twitter, Facebook, and all over the place. Also, anybody can start making money on Happs from the very first day. Sign up, go live, make money. It’s that easy.”
