Situated in Piazza di Spagna, the artist’s dynamic installation offers a contemporary reinterpretation of the urban landscape, capturing and refracting sunlight. 12 travertine-based pillars adorned with colored mirrors rotate continuously tracing the path of the sun from dawn until dusk. For the first time, on May 12, Bvlgari participated in the Race for the Cure, Europe’s biggest sporting initiative organized by Komen Italia, to support women’s health and raise funds for breast cancer research. The circular run began and ended at the Circus Maxiumus, passing such landmarks as the Bocca della Verità, Venice Square, Fori Imperiali, and the Coliseum. With over 100 employees enrolled, it was a true success for our Bvlgari Team! This year, the Bvlgari anniversary celebrations in our offices around the globe were even more special, as we marked 140 years of the Maison as well as the foundation of our beloved Rome. At our HQ in the Eternal City, our teams marked this joyful occasion with a visit to the "Fidia" exhibition at the Capitoline Museum – the first monographic exhibition dedicated to the greatest sculptor of the classical age. Manifattura Accessori preparing operator Sheila Ambrogini's journey from a small seaside town to a career at Bulgari is an unlikely story. Following jobs that included furniture restoration, painting, and a brief stint in hospitality, Sheila applied for the distinguished Leather Bag Artisan program at Polimoda, created in partnership with Mètiers d'Excellence and LVMH Group. After just six months of formal training, she received an internship at Bvlgari Accessori in Florence. Reflecting on her journey, Sheila shares, "The experience with Mètiers d'Excellence has given me a perspective I couldn't achieve before. I didn't have the opportunity to practice a profession, whereas here, I had this chance. I owe a lot to the working environment at Bvlgari: it has been very welcoming from the start, and my colleagues have been generous in sharing their knowledge and skills." She has now worked at Bvlgari for several years, honing her craft and working alongside experienced artisans daily.
