do i believe people are allowed to have their opinions about things ? absolutely. but what are we doing here arguing about fiction like it’s the most important thing in the world.

i’ve seen literal essays with lines of dialogue taken out of context that supposedly prove how a character is bad/good. it’s a book. it’s fiction. it’s a piece of writing. if you don’t like it don’t read it.

the war between the antis and the pros will never not be funny to me because you do realise that a character needs to be dynamic to be interesting ? it makes the character appear more real. nobody’s fully evil or fully a hero.

also let people ship who they want to ship for the love of god. this fandom once literally bullied a very talented artist for making art of their preferred ship because they didn’t agree with said ship. that artist has since understandably wanted nothing to do with this fandom.

in conclusion i love acotar but im scared to go over to that side of tumblr because im just fully neutral and the anti/pro wars and the extreme gywnriels/elriels ect scare me.
