Founded in 1984, TFWA is the world's biggest duty free and travel retail association, providing the industry with high-quality exhibitions, acclaimed conferences and workshops, and in-depth market research. TFWA’s missions : • encourage closer links between manufacturers and retailers world-wide, in order to facilitate growth of the duty free and travel retail industry • provide the industry with high-quality exhibitions, conferences and workshops, (1) • in-depth market research, • provide a forum to forge relationships between suppliers and operators and try to support our members and the industry as a whole. (1) TFWA World Exhibition & Conference held annually in October in Cannes is the global forum for the international Duty Free and Travel Retail industry. TFWA Asia Pacific Exhibition & Conference held annually in May in Singapore is the only travel retail & duty free exhibition and conference event which focuses on the development of the business in the Asia Pacific region. TFWA China’s Century Conference, is held every 2 years in March in China, in partnership with the Asia Pacific Travel Retail Association. MEADFA Conference on behalf of the Middle East & Africa Duty Free Association for the benefit of suppliers and operators in that region.
