sonny and jed and l'amante di gramigna having the exact same premise of a woman pursuing a bandit bc she sees a chance for liberation in existing outside of the law that entraps her. and yet one is a misogynistic trash lauded by tarantino fans (not that he had any significance but for the sake of the argument) and the other is a well-written movie that is clearly interested in exploring the feminist themes encoded in the original concept to some extent. and the latter is only available in vhsrip and is criminally obscure. well well
